1 Kings 9:1–7. Conditional Promises of the Lord

1 Kings 9:1–3; Doctrine and Covenants 110:1–10. These two sections of scripture both have God or Christ appearing to His prophets, Solomon in 1 Kings and Joseph Smith in Doctrine and Covenants, along with Oliver Cowdery. The temples at both times are excepted and will have the name of God on it. However there are differences. In Doctrine and Covenants a description of Christs appearance written.
